
The University of Jordan witnessed a successful performance today of the interactive play "Your Voice Makes a Difference," presented by the National Interactive Theatre Team from the National Centre for Culture and Arts. The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency Engineer Haditha Al-Khraisha, Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, with the attendance of His Excellency the Ministry’s Secretary-General, Mr. Ali Al-Khawalda, representing the Minister; Professor Nahed Amiesh, Vice President of the University of Jordan; Ms. Bushra Abu Shahout from UN Women; Her Excellency Engineer Maha Al-Ali, Secretary-General of the Jordanian National Commission for Women; and Ms. Lina Attel, Director-General of the National Centre for Culture and Arts.
The play aims to encourage young men and women to use their electoral voice to effect real change in their community, motivating them to participate in party politics for stronger, more effective, and fair political representation. The performance featured actors Gandhi Saber, Dana Abu Lubban, Mousa Al-Baoul, and Dalia Al-Moumni, directed by Saba Obeidat, and written and prepared by Muhannad Al-Nawafleh.
The audience engaged actively with the excellent performance and the important message conveyed by the play. They participated in a discussion session after the show to explore the issues raised and potential solutions. Many attendees expressed their admiration for the performance and the significance of its message, which bolsters hope for greater youth participation in future electoral processes.
