
Ms. Lina Attel, Director General of the National Center for Culture and Arts, participated in a panel discussion titled "Teaching Culture and Arts for a Sustainable Future" at the UNESCO World Conference on Culture and Arts Education. The conference was held in Abu Dhabi from February 13 to 15, 2024, by invitation from the International Theatre Institute (ITI), UNESCO.
The session was attended by the Minister of Culture, Ms. Haifa Al-Najjar, and the Minister of Education, Professor Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, during their participation in the conference.
Attel highlighted the importance of making culture and arts accessible to all segments of society and the role of the National Center for Culture and Arts in providing innovative creative models to enrich the educational process, promote social development, and reinforce human values. She emphasized the center's programs in interactive theatre and training courses for teachers on using drama in education and theatrical arts techniques, in partnership with the Ministry of Education.
