Interactive Theatre Techniques (TBT) – Forum Theatre

Today marked the launch of the training program, “Interactive Theatre Techniques (TBT) – Forum Theatre,” organized by the National Centre for Culture and Arts in cooperation with the Civil Peace Service (CPS) program of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), and accredited by the International Theatre Institute (ITI).

The training brings together 30 young men and women from Al-Qantara Center in Ma’an, Ruwwad for Development in Amman, and the Creativity Club in Karak, in addition to participants from Al-Amal Foundation for Development and Advancement in Jerash/Gaza Camp, as well as participants from the Asian Football Development Project (AFDP) from Azraq and Za’atari camps, within an interactive creative space that combines dialogue, expression, and art.

The program aims to strengthen young people’s capacities to use theatre as a tool for critical thinking, constructive dialogue, and positive change, while also developing their communication, teamwork, and creative expression skills through interactive theatre techniques.

Over the coming days, participants will work on creating interactive theatrical scenes inspired by real community issues, contributing to stronger civic engagement and empowering youth as agents of change.
