The Theater and Performing Arts Authority, affiliated with the Ministry of Culture in Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the National Center for Culture and Arts, implemented a specialized training on writing for children’s theater.
The training was attended by 23 participants, including 17 women and 6 men, consisting of writers and individuals interested in writing.
The program introduced the concept of children’s theater and its various types, and explored the methods of writing theatrical texts suited to different childhood age groups. It also highlighted ways to develop children’s imagination and creativity through theater.
The outcomes of the training included the production of diverse theatrical scripts targeting various age groups.
