30 art education teachers from Ministry of Education schools in the governorates of Karak, Jerash, and Amman successfully completed a specialized training course on peaceful conflict resolution using theatre techniques.
The 3-day training, totaling 15 hours, was organized by the National Center for Culture and Arts as part of the “Peaceful Conflict Resolution” project, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and with support from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The workshops were delivered by experts from the Center across the three governorates. The activities, based on the training manual, aimed to enhance critical thinking skills, foster respect and acceptance of diversity, and promote creativity, citizenship, and community participation.
Participants expressed their appreciation for the importance of such training programs, highlighting the need for their continuation due to the tangible positive impact on both their professional and personal development.
